|Wild Music: Animal Songs and Calls|
Event Type: FAMILY/ALL AGES PROGRAM|
Start Time: 2:00 PM
End Time: 3:00 PM
For Grades K-5
From coyotes to owls to frogs, animals make some amazing sounds! In this program we'll learn about the ways animals communicate. We’ll join the frog chorus, learn how to hoot like an owl, and participate in a coyote symphony. We’ll meet some of the singers in person by studying live crickets.
In this fun, hands-on program, kids K-5 will learn about animal communication. The program includes lots of participation, a close-up look at real crickets, and a short reading from Anita’s latest book, Wait Till It Gets Dark: A Kid’s Guide to Exploring the Night.
