|Gluten-Free Baking: Postponed to 1/11/14 Snow Date|
Event Type: ADULT PROGRAM|
Start Time: 2:00 PM
End Time: 3:30 PM
When her son was diagnosed with multiple food allergies, cookbook author and food blogger Colette Martin had to re-invent the way her family ate. That included finding other ways to make baked goods, a mainstay in so many kitchen repertoires. The result: great recipes that she gathered in her book, Learning to Bake Allergen-Free: A Crash Course for Busy Parents on Baking without Wheat, Gluten, Dairy, Eggs, Soy or Nuts (Workman, 2012). As part of our continuing series, Tastes Good/Get Healthy @ the Guilderland Library, Colette will be here to share her strategies for baking allergen- and gluten-free, and she’ll demonstrate some wonderful holiday baking methods. Copies of her book will be available to purchase, and there will be samples to try, as well! Registration is required for this program.
Snow date for this program is January 11, 2014.
